Q3 server connectivity

I'm running a Q3 server, all works well except that I get booted when connecting from the WAN after about 5 minutes. HTTP, FTP and other services are running OK and are available from outside. The Q3 server does not boot me when connecting from the LAN. Have tried putting box in DMZ, no effect, also tried port pass thru, (using UDP, with latest Linksys firmware) no effect.
-Cable modem
-Linksys router
-IP 24.190.99.13
-Dedicated Win2K Server
Any ideas guys??

Make sure you have the 1.37.1 firmware version installed. One of the characteristics of previous firmware versions was quake players being booted after 5 minutes. Find the update at www.practicallynetworked.com (http://www.practicallynetworked.com) . I found it helped when I used a dynamic DNS service also, try www.dns2go.com (http://www.dns2go.com) as it's free.
