Hi

I am trying to run Quake 3 on linux with multiple cfg files. I can get the servers up and running remotely no problem but when I check them a bit later on they all seem to change to one config.

So for example I have a CTF, DM and Duel server when I go back and check them later they will all read either DUEL, DM or CTF if you see what I mean,

I have removed the q3server.cfg file in Baseq3 dir which I know can cause problems but it's still doing it. Any suggestions or help would be really appreciated.

The problem sounds like the game overwriting your configs with the q3config.cfg that it creates automatically in the .q3a/baseq3 directory. This config gets executed on every map change AFTER your server's autoexec, thus overwriting it. The solution is to delete everything in the q3config.cfg file and then make it read only. Q3 will complain about not being able to write to it, but that doesn't matter and your multiple configs will now stick for each game.
