Rcon Bug in Q3

Is there anything you can do to stop q3 from broadcasting my rcon password to everyone in the server when I loggin to lock the server or change the settings? Does ID know about this bug?

It's not a bug, you just need to make sure to use the '/' key before typing in your password in.. http://gameadmins.com/ubb/smile.gif If I were you I'd add your /rconpassword password into your autoexec.cfg..
