Rcon say....something please!

Hi! Im running Spearhead Runner, a great prog.
One of the functions there are "advertisement", putting in a text for the players on my server to see.

But I can't see that it is working. Must I do something to make it work other than setting it up in Spearhead runner?

The console says:

...so "say" what? It doesnt seem right. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I've never used it....try quotes around it

say "Welcome to today's game"

All my messages work fine without quotes. The messages in Runner are either entered as a message of the day(MOTD) or under misc. options, server messaging, the latter has a 'send messages' timer, make sure you have entered a time in this.(try a minute between each message to start off with)

When you see the word 'say',it is actually broadcasting the message that you put in, it just does not show the words in the console.
