Right chaps,

We have some very strange problem with our servers in that some are listing ingame / in gamespy and some are not....

They ping and show up fine in ASE but not in the in game or Gamespy listings. But the problem is some show up some dont. If I have one that is working make a copy of the dir and set that one up it wont show or it might there seems to be no logic.

The problem is that some do show up which would suggest it is not a router problem.

The IP is 195.20.109.57 ports 12203 12204 12205 12206 none of which show up but some of the other IPs from the same server provider show up.

Does the ingame browser run thru gamespy so if we get it in one it will be in the other or r they separate issues?

ASE does show em tho which is the confusing thing!!

Can anyone advise? The scripts have all the seta master stuff for gamespy by the way

Cheers,

CK

GaSplat here. Try setting net_port in the start up command for each server. If the server has multiple IPs, then be sure to set net_ip as well. If these are set correctly it can help get the server listed.

I'm having the same problem as mentioned above. The only difference is i have a different IP for each server set with net_ip. So on the command line i'm setting net_ip, net_port 12203 and net_gamespy_port 12300. Two of the 4 servers are reporting to gamespy. If i do a netstat -a, it shows that two of the servers are listening on 12300 yet 4 are listening on 12203. If anyone has run into this problem, any help is greatly appreciated.
